“Vicc Ltd.” was established in August 2015, evolving from its predecessor, “Computer Visualization,” which was founded in 2008 by our CEO, Kenji Watanabe.
Originally launched as a 3D technology-focused organization specializing in architectural visualization, the company has supported numerous renowned architects and innovative design projects.
Over time, we expanded our expertise from 3D visualization into the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling), building a comprehensive support structure that leverages information technology across all phases of construction—from planning and procurement to design, construction, fabrication, and facility management. Our goal has always been to enable holistic optimization of construction projects.
Today’s construction projects involve increasingly complex requirements and relationships among stakeholders.
At Vicc, we aim to enhance communication among all parties—including clients, designers, and contractors—through the power of digital technology, ultimately contributing to greater efficiency and improved quality across the entire project lifecycle.

Charlie Yoon

After beginning his career as an architect in the United Kingdom, Charlie Yoon went on to serve as a BIM Manager at a major contractor, where he gained extensive hands-on experience from the early days of BIM implementation through involvement in large-scale construction projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including hospitals, museums, stadiums, and large residential developments.

He later worked for a project management consultancy, providing BIM support from the owner side and developing expertise in globally aligned BIM execution and project management practices.

Currently, as Technical Director at Vicc, he supports digital transformation initiatives within the Japanese construction industry. By combining advanced and practical international expertise with a deep understanding of the unique culture and practices of Japan’s construction sector, he drives project-wide efficiency improvements and business process transformation. In addition, he is actively engaged in developing BIM management professionals capable of operating at a global standard.
